ISA Certified Arborist
Most tree services in Southern Oregon are really just removal operations. They show up, they cut, they grind, they leave. Fast turnaround, low overhead, next job.
Table Rock Tree Care is Different
We’re a full-service tree care company—with an emphasis on care. That means every recommendation we make starts with the same question: what’s best for this tree? Sometimes the answer is a precise structural prune. Sometimes it’s a cabling system that lets a magnificent old oak stand for another century. Sometimes it’s removal—but only when there’s no better path forward.
Just like people, every tree is unique. So is every property. We don’t do cookie-cutter. We listen, we assess, and we explain what we’re seeing in plain English. Because an informed client makes better decisions, and better decisions mean healthier trees.

Tate Dunn
Owner and ISA Arborist
Every client gets Tate Dunn. Not a crew chief you’ve never met. Not a subcontractor. Tate walks your property, assesses your trees, builds your plan, and stays connected from estimate to clean-up.
Background
Tate grew up getting his hands dirty. Working for landscapers in high school, he discovered that working with trees wasn’t just a job—it was a genuine calling. Tate enrolled in the Horticulture program at Oregon State University, graduated with a Bachelor of Science and came back home to Southern Oregon.
Experience
Tate spent years on staff at Southern Oregon University as one of just two arborists managing the campus tree canopy—a job that sharpened his diagnostic eye and his appreciation for the urban forest. From there, he worked alongside some of the most respected tree services in the Rogue Valley, becoming an elite climbing arborist while never losing sight of his ultimate goal: doing this on his own terms, the right way.
Certification
You’ll find Tate at industry seminars, keeping current with ISA certifications, always adding to what he knows. It’s not a requirement. It’s just who he is.
